Guides Using ChaoX Runner Utility

Run Chaos/Baal/TZ using Chaox Runner Utility (CRU)

Setting up / how to use

All bolded text in CRU must be filled in and you will need to use a Make Game hotkey and Exit Game Hotkey. These hotkeys are used to make/exit a game, but also send a command to ChaoX on discord to announce when your game is made and when it's over

  • DM ChaoX on discord with the command: $whoami
  • Copy/paste this ID into the ChaoX ID box
  • Select the region you will be running on
  • Type your game name. The game name must include Chaos, CS, Baal, Cbaal, Terror, Zone, or tz in order for your game to be correct and work
  • Password is optional. You can set your password or make it the game number
  • You can increment and decrement your game number using the arrows by Game Number. There is the option to have CRU randomly increment the game number
  • *Ladder is currently the only thing support, you cannot select Non-Ladder
  • Character build is optional
  • Press the button "[Not Used]" for any of the hotkeys you wish to set. Rules, Message 1, Message, 2, and On Exit Message are all optional and do not need to be selected, but have proven to be very helpful while running. You must set your Make Game hotkey and Exit Game Hotkey in order to run
  • Once all information has been filled out, you can open Diablo II: Resurrected, click on the Make game tab
  • Ensure your cursor is selected in the Game Name box and press your Make Game Hotkey
  • CRU does not do anything you don't tell it, it cannot read your screen or detect what you're doing. You must put the cursor in the box because this is just a macro. It is going to do Ctrl+A to highlight any existing text in the name and delete it, type in your game name from CRU, hit tab, delete any text in the password box, and type your password before hitting enter to join the game
  • When the run is over and you are ready to leave the game, press your Exit Game Hotkey
  • Close CRU once you are done
